The old town winds down the mountain, from the beautiful market square with its Lübeck town hall to what is probably Lübeck’s most famous landmark – the Holsten Gate. If you want to see the beautiful half-timbered and gabled houses, visit the narrow streets and step down the worn steps of the old corridors, you need not only good breath and comfortable shoes, but also a tasty and hearty kitchen with freshly prepared dishes.

Good to know that our Potters restaurant is halfway, just a minute away from the historic Holsten Gate. We welcome you there in a cozy atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating. An ideal place to stay! From here you can plan wonderful excursions to the winding and hidden paths of Lübeck’s old town.
