The HOCHSTAPLER Burgerschmiede is the new point of contact for you at the port of Münster. With a bar & chilled lounge area and 140 to 200 seats – depending on the season – inside & outside, we are happy to welcome you for burgers & drinks.
Our striving to combine species-appropriate husbandry, high quality and continuous availability ultimately led us just across the Dutch border to Twente. The meat for our Vit’s Twente parties, which we obtain from the Philipp Büning butcher’s shop in Münster, comes from cattle that are reared with respect there.
Vit’s beef is of the very best quality, super tender, with a fine structure and a wonderful taste.
The animals are kept in large, animal-friendly pens where they lie on a thick layer of straw. During the summer months, the cattle roam the meadows and pastures. The animals are slaughtered in a small slaughterhouse in the immediate vicinity of the rearing site, which ensures short transport routes for the animals.
We get the meat delivered fresh in one piece, we grind and prepare the father ourselves every day.
