We, Stephanie and Wolfgang Emmert set ourselves the goal of running our own business early on. We both come from beautiful Bavaria and completed our training as chefs there.
Stephanie found out during her cooking training, which she completed at the Landhotel Weißes Ross near Nuremberg, that her passion lies in pastries. From then on, she focused on that.
In Regensburg, the young cook learned the confectionery trade in the well-known Opera confectionery. There, Steffi was able to develop her skills over several years and gain a lot of experience through the large range.
She finally moved to Hamburg to learn the high art of English cake making from confectioner Christine Bergmayer (back in Regensburg since 2016).
Wolfgang worked in a wide variety of kitchens in order to get to know as many facets of his passion as possible. These included, for example, the Landhotel Birkenhof and the Fürstliche Brauhaus Thurn und Taxis, where he was able to further develop his sophisticated Bavarian culinary skills.
This was followed by Mediterranean and international restaurants, where Wolfgang was able to demonstrate his skills as a chef.
In 2009 he came to Hamburg to gain experience in Nordic cuisine.
Together we opened our pastry shop with café and deli in December 2011, which made a big dream come true for us.
